Shortt Editions creates books, prints and editions that play with, mock and appropriate cultural norms, authority and rules. The press works with a mixture of digital printing, Risograph printing and laser cutters to create unique works that manipulate the political that can be found in the everyday. In 2018 Shortt Editions launched Altar Riso which collaborates with artists to create zines and prints and share our love of Risograph printing.
The IPRC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to facilitate creative expression, identity and community by providing individual access to tools and resources for creating independently published media and artwork. We are located in Portland, Oregon USA and have a risograph studio featuring three GR3700 printers and an assortment of drums.
Access to the IPRC risograph studio is available for IPRC Studio Members who have received training via the Intro to Risograph workshop.
Fidèle is initially a small press publishing picture books and comics. Almost every book is printed on our double drum machines, and since 2016 we beggan to offer our services as printers. Now it's a 50-50 activity and the studio is growing with new materials at the "Grands Voisins", a former hospital turned into a famous alternative economy and social developpement place.
We are a French laboratory of risography installed on a third place near Poitiers (midwest). We welcome the projects of garphists and artists who want to experiment with risography. We also print our own creations.
COLORAMA is a risoprinting studio and a publishing house based in Berlin - It is run by Johanna Maierski since 2015. COLORAMA aims to share its craftmanship to make the process of designing, illustrating, conceptualizing, printing, binding, publishing and distributing as accessible as possible. Therefore the studio offers regular workshops with introductions to basic and specific topics.
Since 2016 Colorama and Aisha Franz host CLUBHOUSE, an event where a group of artists are invited to work collaboratively on the design and production of a publication.
Outer Space Press is an artist run book design and print studio found by printmaker Magdalena Wysocka and publisher Claudio Pfeifer, based in Berlin, Germany.
