RP DIY Parts from the Hardware Store

A listing of parts for the RP family of risograph that can be readily found at your local hardware store. 

Drum Projection Plate Collar 

This hard to find yet commonly broken part can be replaced with two generic nylon washers:

1. .625" x .187" x .125" (5/8" x 3/16" x 1/8") nylon washer (approx. 23¢)
2. #10 screw washer (3/8") nylon washer (approx. 17¢)
3. . 3/16" e-clip (only if original is lost - approx. 17¢)

The larger washer is slightly thicker than the large part of the original collar, but the width of the two washers together is the same and it does not seem to effect the master projection action.

Instructions

Using a round file, enlarge the interior diameter of the washers until the fit smoothly on the projection plate. Put the smaller washer on first, then the larger washer, and close it up with the 3/16" e-clip.
