Libros Mutantes is an independent art book fair founded in 2010 in Madrid, Spain, dedicated to experimental publishing, artist books, zines, and other self-published works. Organized annually at venues including La Casa Encendida, the fair brings together independent publishers, artists, designers, and collectives from Spain and internationally, with a focus on graphic arts, contemporary art, photography, illustration, and critical publishing practices. In addition to its exhibitor fair, Libros Mutantes hosts talks, workshops, exhibitions, and educational programming aimed at fostering dialogue around alternative editorial models and supporting the circulation of independent print culture.
