If you can't print, it may be because the IP address the printer has set is incompatible with your router's settings.

To fix it, go into the internet router's admin panel. (It's usually at http://192.168.18.1 or http://192.168.0.1. The username and password are usually on a sticker on the bottom of your router.) Check if you can see the printer listed as an ethernet/LAN device. If not, look for a setting labeled something like "DHCP IP address range" or "DHCP start/end IP address" (every router admin panel is a little different so you might need to poke around) - your printer's IP address needs to fall within this range. For example, if your router's DHCP IP address range is 192.168.20.1 to 192.168.20.200 and your printer's current IP address is 10.1.0.1 - that's not going to work and you need to change the printer's IP address to something like 192.168.20.15 (or any number after the last dot between 1 and 200).

To set your printer's IP address, go back to your printer and click the "System" tab and the "Network Settings (IPv4)", click the box with the numbers you want to change, hit the clear button, and enter the new IP address on the keypad. Then remove and re-add your printer with the new IP address.
